Advantages
- A photovoltaic installation produces electricity during the day when there are typically not many electrical consumers in a household. It is therefore standard practice for the household to also invest in a battery to store electricity. The larger the capacity of the battery, the longer it will provide electricity, but it also increases the amount of the investment.
- Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company of choice by the client.
- The project must fulfill the criteria of 100% electricity consumption for own needs via Net-Metering process or fulfill the Net-Billing criteria. If your installations are exclusively for sale of electricity without own consumption, please contact us for more details on the financing terms.
Frequently asked questions
This scheme allows a producer of electricity (typically by PV installation) to cover a significant part of their own consumption, while at the same time giving them the possibility to use the grid for indirect storage of unutilized electricity. Thus, the consumer is self-producing the energy that is necessary to cover the property needs (residential, business premises, industry, hotel, etc.). If there is excess energy, it is usually not lost to the consumer but offset for a certain period of time when the final settlement takes place.
This scheme allows a producer of electricity (typically by PV installation) to cover a significant part of their own consumption, while at the same time giving them the possibility to sell any excess electricity to the Grid. Thus, the consumer is self-producing the energy that is necessary to cover the property needs (residential, business premises, industry, hotel, etc.). If there is excess energy, it is not lost to the consumer but sold to the Grid and compensated for twenty years based on the wholesale market price at the time of injection. The final settlement between produced and consumed energy takes place monthly.
- Partial independence from electricity price increases, providing great reductions in your electricity bill for 25 years.
- The consumer becomes energy independent and doesn’t have to rely on other energy forms by taking advantage of this inexhaustible source of energy.
- Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions are reduced and by extension, you are contributing in dealing with the greenhouse effect.
